What’s Included in a Website?

Three Ways to Connect to your Customers

Your website is an important part of the way you connect to customers. An effective website enhances your other Internet-related efforts to reach customers including your neighborhood marketing and social media efforts.

Before We Start

Before we start on your website, we ask you to help define for us these key questions:

  1. What types of customers do you want to target?
  2. What do you want your customers to do?
  3. What is your core expertise or solution?
  4. Why are you better than your competition?

Knowing the answers to these questions helps us keep the website focused on attracting qualified leads and start differentiating your business from that of your competition.

What’s Included in Your Website

Though websites may look and operate much differently, we find that at a minimum, a website should provide the following pages which are included in our proposal:

  1. Home page – Recaps information a customer might need before visiting or contacting. Should provide a strong call to action with a phone number and/or contact form.
  2. Products/Services page – Provides more in-depth information about the products, products lines or services you provide.
  3. Portfolio/Success page – Provides examples of your work or case studies.
  4. Contact page – Provide phone and email contact information and a contact form for online submission of inquiries.
  5. About page – Provides more information about your business such as how many years in business, awards and additional testimonials
  6. Privacy Policy page – A privacy page lets visitors know what you will do with their contact information. If you are running search engine advertising, a privacy policy is required
  7. Blog page – If you are making regular updates or contributions to your website then a blog-style page for blog posts, news updates or other timely information may make your website more timely and informational. As you work with our design team, a blog page may often be an alternative to the standard home page.

Website Baisc Pages

Your website will also make it easy for either you or us to add additional pages. If we do additional pages beyond those shown above, additional charges apply.
